The preparation

    Heat heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until just simmering.

    Remove from heat and add chopped Mexican chocolate.

    Let sit for 1 minute, then stir until completely smooth and melted.

    Stir in cinnamon, cayenne, and vanilla.

    Serve warm alongside churros for dipping.
